Pipe smoking since 2004.
Well i started smoking when i was age 30 ;cigarettes and cigars first.I was a late starter,so i can't say it stunted my growth. I found smoking a pensive way to chill out,so smoking is good for me..
One day i passed a real tobacconist in a rural area for some rollup ;saw loads of jars on the wall and pipes under the counter: Walked out with a Peterson 303 bent rustic apple and some Gawith and Hoggarth American delight.
I chose the baccy that was as close to the smell of a certain sweet pipe smell that i could remember smelling as a kid; like when you could walk in the woods and still smell the pipe of a dog walker who had been there 15 mins or so before you.
I have since discovered in my pipe journey that the nostalgic memory belonged to 'St Bruno Flake'. (I love it when I solve mysteries)
Well i have found that pipe smoking has revealed blends , shapes, tastes and aromas i could not of imagined.
I come from a typical non smoker or drinker family and so i get crap about my hobby..
