I have enjoyed smoking pipes for over 30 years. Having tried a variety of tobaccos both here in the US and overseas, I have experienced quite a cross-section of what pipe-smoking has to offer.

A small collection of well-loved mid-range pipes. Mostly good, friendly GBDs, Savinellis and the like. Coming from a military background, I never invested too much in my pipes since they would often accompany me to the field. These days I am now purchasing better quality Petersons, Comoys, Saseinis, and so on. I own no freestyle pipes. Mostly "normal" pipes, I have to recommend, if you have never had the pleasure of trying a Churchwarden, you owe it to yourself to add at least one to your collection. I gravitate towards aromatic and Cavendish blends, and on occasion enjoy a good English style. I do not care much for heavilly topped and fruited blends.
