A while back, when i first experimented with pipe smoking, it took a mere two weeks for it to entirely annihilate my ~10 years of cigarette addiction. It was like rediscovering tobacco, and realizing that it can be much more than just a quick, addictive nicotine fix.

Since then, i've always been taking notes on the various tobaccoes i've tried, and i've always used this site as a resource for which blends might be of interest to me. Now, i figure i might combine the two and contribute to the site with my notes.

To give you a quick idea of my smoking habits: I tend to smoke one bowl every evening after work. On the weekends, i'll sometimes go for a second bowl, but other times i might skip a day entirely, so it averages at about a bowl per day. Once a fortnight or so, i also enjoy a cigar (Preferably Sumatran leaf).

When i write a review, it's always based on at least a couple of bowls and unless i utterly despise a blend, i write my reviews while actually smoking a bowl of what i'm reviewing. Note down my thoughts live as i go, so to speak.
