THE GIST
Recreational pipe smoker with more enthusiasm rather than ability when it comes to packing, lighting, and smoking a pipe.
BACKGROUND
Intrigued as a kid watching my grandfather smoke his rotation of basket pipes and the wonderful smell in his garage (SWR), I figured I’d take up this wonderful pastime and maybe learn to slow down & relax a little while I’m at it.
PAD & TAD
I gravitate to English high-grades (Dunhill, Barling, Ferndown, Ashton, etc.) as well as olde tyme shop pipes here in the U.S. (Cellini and Peretti).
Smoke-wise, I’m on a mission to experience the original classics (Dunhill, Three Nuns, etc.) tinned decades ago as well as enjoy what’s currently available.
I smoke aro’s to please the wife but, I’m branching out into VA’s and English blends by myself in the back yard.
