I bought my first pipe around 10 years ago. I purchased it based on the recommendation of a co-worker that I give it a try. It was an inexpensive Paronelli that I ended up putting through the wringer. The hobby and pastime has grown for me over the past few years. I purchased better pipes and better tobaccos. And, I have tried to learn as much as possible about the hobby. My favorites include Turkish forward blends, English blends, and good Virginia blends.
