PIPE COLLECTION:

First pipe: Savinelli Grezza 104 - Still one of my best pipes.

For the sake of keeping some Norwegian pipe smoking history alive, I also collect pipes of the now discontinued Lillehammer brand. These were produced in Norway up until some time in the 1980s. They are good smokes as well.

Otherwise I have a relatively random mix of pipes - only briars.

Tobacco is too expensive in Norway to buy lots of it for storage. Instead I max out my traveller's quota of five 50g tins every time I visit family in England. Blends I always jump on the opportunity to get more of are:

SG Bothy Flake
SG Full Virginia Flake
GH Best Brown Flake Unscented
GH Bob's Chocolate Flake
Rattray's Marlin Flake
Solani Virginia Flake with Perique

I would love to get more of some GL Pease and C&D blends, but I have no idea how to get hold of them in Norway.
