Clenching the pipe between the teeths and puffing while strolling in the woods since 2011, I’m mainly an outdoor smoker, hence the acronym ODS.

Latakia and dark-fired Kentucky cultist. Lover of strong, full, deep, smoky and earthy blends, occasionally appreciating some pressed Virginias and still on my way to figure out how this Perique tastes like.

I managed to get my hands on quite a few blends, and I decided to do some reviewing to help me to keep track of the blends on the market, the outstanding ones, the ones to give at least a try, and those to avoid as the black plague.

This is how I rate blends :
1 star : tried out of curiosity, but revealed to be nothing special, wouldn’t buy it anymore.
2 stars : good, should try at least once.
3 stars : outstanding, worth further purchasing.
4 stars : exquisite, a “must” and worth cellaring.
