I am a lawyer who took up pipe smoking about 38 years ago while still smoking cigarettes. I abandoned cigarettes altogether in 1980 and took up cigars while smoking a pipe intermittently. I have now decided to return to pipe smoking full time, and to savor the beautiful tobaccos out there. So in a way, I am a 'returnee' to pipe smoking.
