Living in Austria close to the German border my view of reviews is eurocentric. My english might be far from perfect so bear with me.

I do smoke pipe since the age of 18 and i plan on doing so till the age of 98. I do love and enjoy all types of blends, from aromatics to natural blends.
If i have a choice however i will always go for natural blends, preferably english and within those, preferably balkans.

I neither do care about brands, fashions nor hypes. If a no-name cheap over the counter blend is nice, i will accept that, and if a high profile blend is crap i will accept that as well.
The same goes for pipes. I really don't care if a pipe carries a white dot or comes along without any stamp or sign at all.
If its a good smoker and only costs 30 bucks i'm content, if a pipe costs 400 bucks and is just a dull smoke i wont be surprised either. If the shape and make catches my eye and its a nice smoke i'm happy, i want to smoke and not to brag.

My interests vary between pipes and tobacco. There's times i'm way more interested in the tobacco than into the pipes and there's times when the opposite is true.

Also i am a sampler. If i have the chance to, i will always buy an unknown blend rather than a blend i already sampled.
