I really am a cell biologist! I teach cell biology and do research at the University of Montana. I smoke outdoors, usually on my deck, summer or winter.

I make pipes with graphite bowls and shanks. Most of my pipes are ones that I have made, except for a couple by Mark Tinsky and one from Tim Fuller. All of my pipes are experiments, and I enjoy acquiring data on their smoking characteristics.
