I have been a pipe smoker on and off for about 40 years. Back in the day, when there were pipe shops in abundance, and you could go to your local drugstore store and peruse numerous OTC brands,which are now behind the counter. It has been a lot of fun purchasing some of my favorite brands from the past over the internet
I have two Italian pipes - one a Savinelli and some miscellaneous American brands plus one cob.
