Newbie smoker at 48 except all the second hand smoke of my fathers cigarettes for the first 25 years of my life. I smoke pipes and cigars only, maybe a smoke a week average (I'm a lightweight). I prefer aromatic tobaccos, and dislike English/Latakia types.

It's been a few years now since I started the pipe weed and I have 100 different types of tobacco and still more to come. I plan to add reviews on all at some point. I also have 500 pipes now....so far.... most of which are vintage or antiques that I have refurbished. I have also made one pipe from a pre-drilled block and another from a block (purchased from Mark Tinsky of American Smoking Pipe Company) on my lathe. The first one is ok, a LongJohn Zulu, the second turned out great, a Short Stacked Liverpool. They both smoke great.
