Took to the pipe around 2010 and I love it. I have smoked lots of tobacco in that time but reviewed very little of it. As a neophyte pipe smoker I felt I couldn't really write about tobacco very well so should keep quiet. These days I'm not worried about sounding stupid and I'm planning to review every tobacco I smoke. I'm going to do this for my own enjoyment but if it helps others that's great.

If it's in my wish list I'm either smoking it right now and preparing to review it, or have a tin ready to pop and smoke soon.

I own about 20 briar pipes and a few cobs. My collection is a mix of estates I have restored, new pipes, factory pipes and one off hand crafted.

Tobacco: I have about 50 sealed tins stashed away from blenders like Dunhill to G. L. Pease. I buy more than I smoke, and these days, tend to only open tins that have a bit of age on them.
