This classic pipe tobacco blend brings together the finest Georgian Virginias, Black Cavendish, Mexican Burleys and Cyprus Latakia to produce a distinct non-aromatic blend. Medium Cavendish and Loose Cut.
The Cyprian Latakia is smokey woody, earthy, musty sweet, and plays well with the smokey, woody, earthy, floral, herbal, vegetative, lightly spicy, mildly sour Oriental, which is a competitive component to the Latakia. The Virginias provide light citrus, earth, wood with some grass as a secondary player. The burleys aren’t always very noticeable, but they add a little earth, wood and nuts. The black cavendish has a sugary creaminess that mildly smooths out the other varietals. The strength and nic-hit are just past the center of mild to medium, while the taste just falls short of the medium mark. Has a nice balance, Burns cool and clean at a moderate pace with a mostly consistent, mildly sweet and rather savory flavor that translates to the pleasantly lingering after taste, and stronger room note. Hardly leaves any moisture in the bowl, and requires an average number of relights. Can be an all day smoke for the veteran and repeatable for the less experienced.
