Sutliff's Baklava, starts out as a steamed and toasted black Cavendish which has a natural brown sugar sweetness about it. The tobacco is then enhanced by adding walnut, honey and cinnamon flavors to recreate the flavor of the legendary dessert.
Nice blend with some sweetness. Nothing to jump up and down about but some nice flavor of cream a bit of honey just not out front but only in the background. If it was a bit more out front it would be simply outstanding. Decent room note but like the flavor it is simply stuck in the background. Just a ho hum aromatic in my book.
A very nice smoke. You definitely pick up on the nuances from beginning to end. It provided a nice clean burn throughout. If you are looking for a new aromatic to try out, I would highly recommend giving this one a shot. Double win - good smoke and nice room note for the wife or friends. Going to keep some of this around for awhile. When you are in the mood for an enjoyable sweeter note this may be a good one for you.
Here's a real winner,in my opinion. If you like aromatic cavendish blends, this is a good one. Very mild and tasty. Nice flavor and room note. A nice cavendish base with honey and cinnamon. I don't taste the walnut. That being said, it's a 4.
