Gawith Hoggarth - Kendal Gold Shag Vanilla.
I find this quite an enjoyable 'light' aromatic. The smell from the pouch is a great representation of what's coming up. The vanilla can be noticed but it isn't as prevalent as I often find in this type of aromatic. It's all of a great hydration so smoking can commence straight away and once lit the flavour is EXACTLY as the smell lead me to suspect:
The vanilla can be easily noticed however a good proportion of the flavour ground goes to the Virginia. The sweet taste from the Virginia isn't mobbed and pushed aside by the vanilla. Instead the Virginia takes the lead whilst the vanilla acts as a brilliant embellishment to the blend. The nicotine is pretty weak in this, not really mild but mild nonetheless. One area that causes me rancour is a more subjective one, tongue bite. Ouch!
Other than the bite this is OK but sadly the bite brings it down to two stars.
