A smooth smoking, easy to break apart flake. The stoved Virginias must have been aged because it has a fermented, vinegary, lightly dried fruit taste with a bit of hay, grass and earth. The perique is a mild addition, but it has plum, fig, raisin, and pepper notes. No chance of bite. The nic-hit is mild. Burns well, cool and clean with a consistent flavor. Requires few relights and leaves little moisture in the bowl. The after taste is pleasant, but short lived.
