At first I was unsure about trying an English blend. The smoky, ash smell was almost deterring. On first light it may not have been dry enough and needed some attention. Once it was lit it burned evenly and was very nice smelling. The longer it smoked the more a fruity smell came through. An overall good smoke, I was surprised I enjoyed such a strong smelling tobacco but well worth it to try. I would definitely recommend this to any new pipe smoker or someone wanting to try a smooth English blend!
