Produced from tobacco leaf that has been pressed into a cake, heated and then allowed to ferment. Good for bulking out an already bought mixture/blend.
Although this is a blending tobacco I wanted to try it straight as I, probably like most people, found Black Cavendish based blends my favorites when I first started piping. The aroma of this is a touch deceiving, on the description it said no added flavours but it seems to have a light vanilla topping to it.
The taste once lit lacks the vanilla topping but it does taste really sweet, in fact if you like Black Cav' blends then you won't be disappointed by a bowl or two of this neat! If you smoke for 'N' then there is no point in you smoking this neat, if there is nicotine in this it's fooled me! Although it won't be every bodies cup of tea to smoke this by itself I can see this being very useful to keep in stock so a few pinches can be added to bulk up your favorite sweeter blends. If you do decide to smoke this neat bear this in mind... sip VERY slowly as if it's puffed firmer then it can give quite a big bite!
Four stars as this is a lovely Black Cav to mix or blend with.
