The licorice recipe consists of 80% fermented black cavendish from Africa and South America mixed with 20% bright Virginia from Brazil. On top of that genuine licorice and sambuca liqueur are added.

Notes: Due to changes in the European tobacco laws, the mixture is sold in the EU as "Borkum Riff Indigo".

Medium Strong Full Pleasant

Very excitng smoking pleasure. The touch of anis, added by the Sambuco liqeur is great, when you love that taste. When not, it is too strong in the mouth during the first half of smoking your pipe.

Mild Strong Very Full Pleasant to Tolerable

a very special tobacco with a prominent taste and smell of liquorice and some anisette. Beautiful black cavendish (~80%) and some virginia, both in a kind of even coarse cut.

very enjoyable in smell and taste.
