I needed to revisit this tobacco several times to really nail down what was going on here. The tobacco is of very good quality and burns very well. (no goop) I get a very nice berry flavor, dried strawberry maybe? I feel like I'm getting some kind of fruity liquor as well. Half way down the bowl it moved into an almost buttery caramel flavor with citrus notes gently passing through...very pleasant! The remainder of the bowl was buttery caramel with a cross between a tart berry and lemon all the way to the fine ash at the bottom. No tongue bite, and no chemical taste here. I smoked the tobacco somewhat on the dryer side which allowed it to stay lit effortlessly and facilitated the slow savory smoke that allowed these beautiful flavors and aromas to come through. Room note was pleasant. I recommend this fine aromatic.

Mild to Medium Medium to Strong Full Very Pleasant

Properly balanced aromatic, not too dry, not too wet. Tastes of Chambord liquor and vanilla cream cordial with a toasted-marshmallow aftertaste. Really nice. Maybe a bit like Cherry Garcia ice cream half-melted on a Graham Cracker? Ages beautifully. Taste is quite full and rich and a dense smoke once it gets going and stays lit. No chemical taste whatsoever; tastes all natural and not overly sweet. VERY well balanced and near-perfect. Reminds me a bit like the mythical Planta Anno MVII (2007) but more constrained. Tobacco is not overly strong.

This is some really fine stuff. Alas there are good aromatics out there, you just have to hunt them down. This one is very similar to the Peterson 2010 Special Reserve blend. I think the great aroma from the smoke really translates to taste, therefor the smoker is pleasing himself and not just the people he surrounds himself with. Find it before the year is up! Great tin for collectors to boot!

A very nice smoke. The flavoring is fantastic, the berry really burst through and shines. Once I get a perfect bowl in I will update. It has a nice nutty taste to it It has a very nice tin aroma, not sure where it comes from, but a good all around tobacco

Medium Medium to Strong Extra Full Very Pleasant

Brandy note in the tin which develops well when smoked. Red berries and vanilla aroma from the beginning of the smoke. A very pleasant smoke, fully bodied and perhaps a little overwhelwing if smoked in a large pipe. Quite worth trying and not just for tin collectors! On that point of view the design is quite distinctive, with a 'high tech' note!
