Premium Aromatic. A number of years ago we gave our blender a task. We asked him to work on a blend that would bridge the gap between those who enjoyed Virginias and those who enjoyed a light aromatic.

On opening one sees a variety of colors (tan to brown-black) and cuts (mostly rough cut with some large pieces). Moderate peach aroma and room note but only a wisp came through in the taste. Moisture level good, not at all wet. This might be pegged as a mild Virginia based aromatic, not complex but pleasant, just slightly sweet. In my experience the de la Concha line is based on quality tobaccos, and that was true of this mixture. Update: Davidoff took over the store in 2014 and De la Concha blends are no longer available.
