Burley is a tricky tobacco. It can be a rough smoke if the blender uses the wrong types of burley or the cut is wrong. Classic Burley is a breakthrough in the tobacco business. Here is a burley blend without burley’s traditional bite. This unique blend is comprised of the best grades of burley, expertly cut and meticulously blended to produce a great taste and a fabulous aroma. This blend is not for the Cavendish smoker. However, it will be the constant companion of the smoker who enjoys burley.

This is a very straight forward burley. The cut is broken up flake. It packs super easy, lights easy and stays lit. It has a decent volume of smoke. The nicotine content is up there but by no means overwhelming. It comes from De La Concha's at the perfect moisture level. If you love burley you will be quite satisfied with this blend. If you are looking for a burley blend at a reasonable price, I recommend you give this one a try.

The De La Concha shop in the New York area is an historic place and certainly one that knows its tobacco. As a fan of Burley, I try a lot of them and Classic Burley was mighty good. Not even a smidgen of bitterness at the bottom as many Burley's are prone to present. Not quite as powerful as Uhle's 00, and much classier than the Prince, this one will sing for Burley fans.
