The mildly nutty, earthy, and lightly molasses sweet burley cavendish takes the lead. The grassy, citrusy Virginia is a supporting player. So is the sugary black cavendish. The tobaccos are greatly sublimated by the rich peach and cream toppings. The toppings weaken a tad in the last quarter of the experience. The strength is a step past the mild mark, while the taste is at the center of mild to medium. Has a mild nic-hit. Won’t bite or get harsh. Burns cool and clean at a moderate pace with a mostly consistent flavor. Leaves a little moisture in the bowl, and requires few relights as the tobacco is a bit moist. The pleasant after taste is short lived. An all day smoke.

All of the Boswell aromatics are quality productions. It really is refreshing to know there is still that hands on artisan approach to anything in the world, let alone tobaccos.
That being said, although this one is a quality product, it still falls victim to the nature of it's being. It is an aromatic, and therefore can burn a little bit hot, a little bit sticky, and does not hold up to it end of the deal when it comes to taste vs smell.
The peach taste is very subtle but it is there, I think. This has a light sweet flavor, and can really scratch that itch for a nice aromatic. It is way above others in it's class. This blend just wont blow you away with flavor, peach or anything else.
As with most aromatic tobacco's this one is not for long term storage. the topping diminishes over time, leaving you with a bland base tobacco. Buy it, smoke it and enjoy. I actually should say buy it, smoke it, and let everybody else enjoy. The room note on this one is very nice. Recommended.

This one snuck up on me. Peaches and Cream started kind of of bland, but soon transformed into a likeable, creamy blend with a faint peachy background. Not impressive, but not bad either. Just don’t expect a dessert blend here.

Just like any other Boswell Aromatic, this blend needs to be smoked fresh!
Appearance/pouch aroma: Good portion of black cavendish, and close to equal portions of burley and cavendish. Moisture content is optimal, perfect for smoking on delivery day.
This does not smell like artificial candy peach, but think actual Georgia peach cobbler served ala mode. Notes of real peach and vanilla, nothing cloying or sickly sweet smelling.
Packing/lighting/smoking:
Since moisture is at an optimum level, packing and initial lighting require little to no effort. Room note is amazing. Real peach flavors abound, just what you would expect from a high quality aromatic from JM. The black cavendish gives it the right amount of sweetness, while the burley gives it just the right amount of body. I have a very sensitive tongue, so this did sting me a bit. Most folks won't have an issue.
Room note is one of the best I've experienced as an indoor smoker. I was smoking a bowl and went out to the woodshed to grab the next load of wood for the stove. When I came back in the house, I inhaled the peach aroma deeply. It's very hard to detect your own room note, but going outside and coming back in when it's 27 degrees out sure helps.
The wife loves it. We had a family gathering about 30 minutes drive away. She wanted to drive her new car, but I wanted to take mine so I could smoke on the way. Jokingly I told her if she drives, I'm gonna smoke in her new car. "As long as its one of those fruity blends, I don't mind!" Well my friends, looks like my wife and Peaches and Cream are both keepers!

Years ago I would at times pick up a pack of John Rolfe peach flavor tobacco for a change of pace. It had a nice room note but left your tongue like a charcoal briquette. Nonetheless I recently had a hankering to try it again and called J M Boswell to order a tin. He informed me that it was no longer available but that he would send a sample of his own mixture to try. Wow! what a rush! This is great tobacco! Wonderful full taste with no bite. You definately can detect the peach flavor and it lasts throughout the entire pipeful. The room note is very pleasant and even the Mrs. finds it to her liking. Didn't notice any nicotine rush-very subtle if at all. Frankly until I experienced the Boswell blends I have given up on aromatics because they are so harsh and after the first few puffs the flavor vanishes and the burn sets in. After you try this order some of their Christmas Cookie blend.

-After several more sittings with this blend my opinions below have not changed.
For my first JM Boswell order I purchased six blends to try out. Of the six the Peaches and Cream was the most disappointing.
In the bag. This tobacco blend has a very saccharine smell. Very sweet to the degree of not being pleasant on the nose. It doesn't smell of peaches or cream. Just sweet. The blend seems too dark for a bright, fruity flavor as well.
In the pipe this blend was mild, cool, dry, and with no bite. All what you would hope for in an good aromatic. Yet any flavoring or even a generic sweetness was non-existent. Not even a taste of the tobacco either. Just an ashy very weak flavor all around. My least recommended blend of those I have samples from Boswell so far.
Got through every time without a relight but it wasn't effortless. Could see relights being often if you like to smoke while talking among friends. This constant puffing also makes it a quick smoke. thiry maybe forty minutes. I usually read while smoking so a short smoke is a negative. I prefer at least 45 minutes out of a bowl so I can get some good reading in between. Longer smokes also mean leas having to monitor your light so you can concentrate on whatever else you are doing like talking, reading, etc.
The room note was just as non-existent. If you like to smoke indoors but otherwise dislike the lingering smell of the tobacco in the room or on your cloths this is for you. Straight out of the pipe I could hardly smell the smoke whirling around my face. Again, no hints of peaches, no creaminess, no sweetness.
This is the first peach aromatic I have tried so I am anxious to compare this with Tinderbox Peach Melba or a Peaches & Cream blend available at Sturman's in Boise.

Good taste of sweet sugary peaches... Made the back of my throat itchy and tongue raw..... Just a tad to sweet for me... But still good for a every now & then smoke.

I bought this blend based on the name which sounded like it would be a good flavor. Upon opening the pouch, I loved the smell of the peaches. I store my tobacco in sealed mason jars and loved the aroma of this blend but for some reason as it aged, the peach aroma diminished.
This blend has the signature Boswell tobacco background which has a slightly nutty/leather taste. I was expecting more of a true ?peach? flavor but it is only slight and is almost non-existent as I get to the bottom of the bowl. Pretty much like Boswell?s Cherry Smash. In my opinion, there needs to be a more, true, robust ?peach? flavor.
Burns well. I would rate this a 3 star if it just had more peach ?punch? to it.

Whoever said dessert is not the main course was most likely a non-piping smoking fool and surely unlearned on JM Boswell’s Peaches & Cream, the aromatic dainty of discussion. Grab your deepest spoon and cuddle up to a full bowl, friends. Peaches & Cream is a mild-mannered blend comprised of mostly Black Cavendish, Burley, and plain old Virginia Cavendish. A richly dark and golden speckled ribbon cut preparation bathed in savory peach and vanilla cream dressings. The food allegory on this mix, as I discovered, is really too much.
When my obligatory two-ounce sample pack arrived, I happened to be sitting at my den desk shifting through some blurbs on PipesMagazine Forum, imagine that. Distracted by the sound of the opening door, I spied my wife lean into the room as she tossed Boswell’s standard Uline Gold Bubble Mailer in my direction. Immediately the old AOL “You got mail!”, hit me squarely on the brain. I knew instantly what the packaged contained just by the waft of aromatic fragrance that smacked me upon catching the bundle. Then I wondered if the mailman had relished the delivery as this thing would make for a lovely car freshener, no doubt.
Once opened, the pouch note proved to be equally mesmerizing. The fruiticious perfume of peachy cream delight was categorically strong, rendering a vibrant liqueur-like impression. Where’s the fuzzy skin, I thought. Resonating further a candied vanilla and a chirpy Play Dough like scent circulated with even boldness. Nicely topping this sugary face, a tracing of off-setting zest kept the overt sweetness in form. Lying low, some goodly nuttiness buried itself in a conniving mood as a gesture of further enticement.
With the tasting, naturally the peach flavoring graciously led the service. It had what I deem as a melon-like tone. What came to mind was the luscious sweet soft tartness of an optimally matured, yellow meaty Georgia peach. Take a bite or a drawl on the pipe rather and the juicy nectar springs forward in full brilliant character. There was slightly acidic feel but overall, this was classic sugary peach and evocative at that.
Supplementing this forward fruitiness with perfect balance, a rich and spicy vanilla buttercream provided an enhancing compliment that captured the true sugary delight of the elegant dessert. This premier feature of this blend made me want to reach for that noted spoon and not my tamper.
As the top-coating taste steamrolled outward with commanding airs, a steadfast and proud White Burley closed the registration. It came across within the immediate bottom band, reminiscent of my wife’s pecan pie. Namely a full toasted nutty complexion surfaced, delectably ornamented with a sugary mix of karo, brown sugar and molasses accenting; yum! Further highlighted colorization softly projected from the Dark varietal as herbaceous wood.
And last but not least, the generous Cavendish brought together a nice marriage of the assorted flavorings. Possibly a corn-syrup casing had been introduced or the leaf exhibited superior absorption properties (maybe a combination of both) as the recognizable sweetness of the strain bolstered the general flavorsomeness of the presentation. Underneath some ordinary woody zest defined the Cavendish’s principal personality. I did repeatedly record a faint lemony citrus nudging which had to be originating from the Virginia within the mix. Still further, the influence of both on the blend served to magnify the production of massive densely pillowed clouds of rich smoke. Finally, there was a comforting degree relishing pizazz on the retro-hale that is experienced.
Clearly the room note that Peaches & Cream carried is one of its most endearing features. This blend smelled heavenly to be frank. A classy burnished “pipey” quality was blanketed in just a sweet effervescence of sugary fruit confection. So, I don’t care who you are, this one irrefutably tolerable and most pleasant. Incidentally the side stream produced a sweet spicy wood.
Peaches & Cream’s physical attributes were yet another positive observation. The tobaccos ignited easily, seeming to burn fairly cool and level. No harshness nor awkward blending edges were experienced to speak of as the mixture endows an obliging smoke. Actually, Boswell ceases to amaze me on how consistently they demonstrate their mastery of crafting quality aromatics. What else can I tell you, a great all-day venture and most definitely a splendid dessert choice after a hardy meal. God, I’ve made myself hungry after all this food related banter.
One final thought. Practice your piping in moderation but do practice your moderation in a moderate fashion. Do you follow? With that healthy dose of cajoling sarcasm, your smoking pleasure will be appropriately in control. Life is as peachy as you decide it to be, so give this one a try. I do recommend its notable appeal. 3.3 Pipes.

Bag note is very sweet it really does have a slight peachy smell. Ribbon cut. Moisture content is fine straight out of the bag. Super mild Cavendish blend. The topping flavors just give a slight sour note (peachy). So far this is the mildest tobacco I have smoked from Boswell. The nic hit is almost non existent. burns fairly cool. Almost no detectable tobacco flavor in this blend. I would not even consider this blend one dimensional maybe 1/2 dimensional. As the more I smoke it the less flavor is present. I would say if you are smoking just for the sake of producing smoke and a very slight peach flavor this might be a good one. When pushed hard all the flavor is gone. For me its just cavendish with a wisp of a topping . Room note is nice for friends.

BP & T makes some great blends (and some very flat ones). I have a mixed bag of reviews here. Their Chocolate Creme and Cherry Smash are the best chocolate and cherry aromatics I've ever had in my 25 years of smoking aromatics.
Peaches and Creme is decent. The peach flavor, like Cherry Smash is very natural, but backed-off a bit. Tastes a bit like a slightly un-ripe Colorado Grand Junction peach and a very light flavor but a good one. Luckily, the "creme" part is backed-off too nicely (unlike their Raspberry and Creme which is almost all creme and should be renamed "Creme with a Single Raspberry in the Next Room Over").
Took a 2nd light (normal) but I was breaking in my Peterson Pub Pipe so I don't blame BP&T here; normally their tobaccos stay lit on ONE lighting.
Moderately rich billows of smoke and smokes a tiny bit hot but is good. Lacks depth though, and there are better Peaches & Creme out there, such as Sutliff "Taste of Summer" or Sutliff's Peaches & Creme which is more flavorful.

Very nice! The standout point for me is the natural peach flavor. I have tended to avoid peach tobaccos because of the heavy, artificial, slap your face, gummy bear topping. This one is applied with a light touch and does not become overwhelming or bitter. I believe it's the best of peach blends.

I like peach pipe tobaccos. That being said, This blend would be great if had a little more flavor. I'm a big Boswell fan obviously but I think there are a few of their blends that would be much better if there was just more flavor. The flavors that are there are always first class, but I sometimes feel they could be more prominent. This is a good peach flavor and the smoke is cool and the room note is pleasing. I would recommend it as a decent peach blend.

Maybe I just got a great batch of this stuff because I don't understand the reviews that say they can't taste the peach in this blend. For me, the peach flavor was quite pronounced--not anything like a drug store blend but also not subtle. I actually enjoyed this blend quite a bit.

Update: the cut and blend has been changed to what you would normally expect of a Boswell baccy. I gotta say I like the flavor of this tobacco but just didnt like the cut. Its a very fine cut almost like sawdust in my opinion.
I should also note that this tobacco beats the Tinderbox peach melba blend. But still stand by my opinion of the cut.

As the other review states, it does need more of a peach flavor punch.Most of the flavor i did get was a somewhat carmel taste with a faint hint of peach now and then.The tobacco I had is a tad wet,but once it's lit tends to stay lit.Doesn't burn hot,no tongue bite no matter how much i puffed, no problems in the smell factor.Nice for someone in search of a real mild tobacco.Could be great if the peach flavor was there.

i just got a shipment of this from Boswell today along with berry cobbler, sweet dreams, and christmas cookie, and I have to say that this is a VERY close second to berry cobbler, which is incredible.
the tobacco itself smells good, but not incredible, and was a little moist, but let it dry a little while, and you'll be set! since it's a little wet, it was hard to light, but once lit, it stays lit. The flavor really kicks in about halfway down the bowl and once it's found, it's peaches and a little cinnamon i believe, very nice...there is a little tobacco flavoring behind it, but the peaches and cinnamon is very nice and is in the forefront.
I'd definitely recommend it.
