A true American Classic Blend this is the original Wally Frank blend recreated by Fink Cigar Co. Once more the correct name is "MONEY BAG".
This is a Cross cut blend that packs well and not hard to keep lit. The flavor is that of a natural tobacco however, the is a ever so slight note of Vanilla every now and then. There is a fair amount of Broad leaf Virgina that runs through Money Bag. A This gives it the little bit of an edge. This is not a bland blend. I would consider this a soft smoke rather then a bland smoke. This blend is close to Captain Black White pouch without the black Cavendish. Easy to smoke and a great natural aroma.
This is just straight up tobacco, medium brown, nice and dry in the pouch. There is a faint scent to it, (and I mean faint)that hints of a top dressing.
It packs easily, lights well, but...I can't taste hardly anything until about a third of the bowl down. Even then the taste is mild to the point of being bland. The room note is of tobacco, but not nasty or rough.
This claims to be an old Wally Frank blend. All I can figure is the recipe dates from the time when many pipe smokers inhaled, and for that it may be just fine. But for me, there are many better blends.
It is very inexpensive, and it would probably make a good blend to tone down stronger, or more heavily cased blends.
