The select bright Virginias provide a wealth of tart and tangy citrus, grass, vegetation, sugar, bread, some floralness, hay, spice, sour lemon, and mild, bitter acidity. The honey casing is rather mild. The strength, nic-hit and taste levels are medium. I recommend a moderate smoking pace due to the tingly spice and acidity. It won’t bite or get harsh. Has a few small rough edges. The crumble cake easily breaks apart to suit your preference. Burns clean, a tad warm, and a touch slow with a very consistent flavor that extends to the mildly lingering, pleasant after taste. The room note is a step stronger. Leaves little dampness in the bowl, and requires an average number of relights. Can be an all day smoke. Should age well. Two and a half stars.
