The various, mixed cut, fermented Virginias provide a lot of zesty tart and tangy citrus, grass, vegetation, mild tangy darker fruit, earth, wood, sugar, floralness, a couple pinches of spice, and a hint of smokiness. The Virginias turned dark during the fermentation process. The very herbal, woody, moderately licorice-like absinthe casing mildly sublimates the tobaccos as it synergistically creates a very consistent flavor from start to finish. The strength and nic-hit are near the medium mark. The taste just reaches that level. There’s no chance of bite or harshness. Has a few minute rough notes. Burns cool and clean at a reasonable rate. Leaves little dampness in the bowl, and requires an average number of relights. Has a lightly lingering, pleasant after taste and room note. Can be an all day smoke.
