The lead components are the earthy, woody, very nutty, oat-like burleys, which also sport a light essence of molasses. The sugary, mildly floral Virginias offer a lot of tart and tangy citrus, bread, grass/hay, some earth, wood, tangy dark fruit, some cooking-like spice, and a little honey. They are supporting players. The sugary stewed fruity black Virginia cavendish is a secondary star. The sweet fruity rum,and other fruits mildly sublimate the tobaccos as much as it cohesively creates a very consistent sugary, fruity, lightly spicy, floral flavor. The strength and taste levels are medium. The nic-hit is a couple of steps past the center of mild to medium. No chance of bite or harshness, and hardly has any rough edges. The plug is mildly moist and easily breaks apart. It needs no dry time. Burns cool, clean and a little slow. Leaves little moisture in the bowl, and requires a few more than an average number of relights. The pleasant after taste and room notes lightly linger. An all day smoke than has a more consistent flavor than the flake version with a little fermentation, too.
