I pulled the only tin of this no longer produced Davidoff blend from my cellar a few months ago as I was searching for a caramel or maple flavored tobacco. There was plenty of Caramel in the Black Cavendish and it came through heavily... too heavily. I had trouble tasting anything else. Although the tin was dated to 2001, the leaf was very wet and sticky and hard to keep lit. I gave up after half a bowl as I'd gotten a caramel overdose. If you see an old tin of this on eBay perhaps, and you love caramel, then grab it. If you like a little tobacco taste with your caramel, just mosey on to the next offering.
