Holger Danske - Red Kirsberry Wine.

This blend has a lively aroma, a very sweet one where it's cherry at the forefront. It's spot on with the water content, neither damp or too dry so you can get started immediately. The tobacco sizes cover a broad spectrum: right from some very tiny "shavings" up to some longer/thicker pieces. The fact that this is perfect in moistness enables the lighting to be extremely simple: a fairly fast touch with the flame is more than a catalyst for a steady smoke which keeps lit well without needing many re-lights.

The flavour of the smoke's a lot tamer than the initial aroma lead me to believe, yes you can detect the cherry wine but it's quite a gentle addition leaving room for the tobacco flavours to be appreciated. Although the cherry wine is quite delicate the taste that comes through is quite pleasing: sweet and candy like.

Nicotine: mild. Room-note: pleasant.

I give this two stars purely because it lacks "The X-Factor" and becomes tedious after a short while.

Somewhat recommended.

got this just for 2.33 dollars/pouche it comes crisp dry, ribbon cut mostly dark brown and smells sweet/alcohol and mild cherry packes and lights easy. this tobacco is heavily cased and tasts just like its smell till mid bowl after that you get very mild cherry and the virginia/orientals profile isn't there, i just didn't know what im smoking the orientals isn't there and there is no virginia sweetness/tanginess. as for room note you'll get lots of compliments. 1 star for price its dirt cheap. 0 star for taste if only it stays good all the way and actually has a good tobacco taste. 0 star for quality 0 star it has a chemical bite.

I bought this just because i was curious and beacuse I had liked the HD vanilla mango. I liked this tobacco a lot, it has a nice room note and a sweet but still tobaccoish flavor, and a kind of nice bitter wine after taste. Might be somewhat overwhelming if smoked contanstly I suppose, but it's a really good alternative for new pipe smokers seeking for something outside the vanilla, chocolate, cherry kind ot aromatic. and for non aromatic smokers I dare to say that they might enjoy ocasionally when and if they want to smoke an aromatic. Not the best thing ever, but still great stuff.
