Mild to Medium Medium Mild to Medium Very Pleasant

The nutty, earthy, woody, spicy, savory burleys are the main player and have a light sharp note, indicating that white burley is present. As a supporting player, the Virginia is grassy, citrusy, and I taste a drop or two of honey, so I’m thinking it was processed in the cavendish style. The very sugary black cavendish offers ample support, too. The toppings are a little hard to define, but I note a little caramel, and a fair amount of spice. The wine topping has an alcohol note. Not sure about the tingly spice. Perhaps nutmeg and cinnamon, but I can’t narrow this down with any certainty beyond saying it has a Danish feel to it. The toppings do sublimate the tobaccos to a fair extent, although they lightly weaken toward the finish. The strength is just past being mild, while the taste is a tad short of the center of mild to medium. The nic-hit is mild. The spice can tingle the tongue a little, and may bite a fast puffer, so I recommend a sipping pace. May need a light dry time as the tobacco is a little on the moist side, though I did not do that. Burns slightly warm at a reasonable pace with a slight inconsistency in its richly sweet, spicy flavor. Has a touch of savoriness as well. Leaves little moisture in the bowl, and requires average number of relights. Has a pleasantly lingering after taste. Can be an all day smoke.
