Bright Virginia grades are blended with our natural cavendish and dark sun cured tobaccos from Brazil. The mild and sweet vanilla maple aroma, in combination with top grades, gives you an outstanding blend.
The blend's more of a coarse cut than a straight ribbon, and although it includes some chunky pieces, there's no twigs; it's all smokeable. The pouch-note is sweet, being stronger with maple than it is vanilla. It's a bit too damp, not soaking wet, but slightly moist to the touch.
I enjoy the flavour, I must admit, it's sort of like a guilty pleasure! I find the same situation with the smoke as I did the pouch-note: the maple outweighs the vanilla. The tobaccos' give a simple flavour: honey from the Cav', and some grass from the Va. The flavour's consistent throughout a bowl, with hardly any fluctuation: heavier with maple, than any other taste. It's a very cool, and thick smoke, that doesn't bite.
The room-note's very nice, and the nicotine's mild.
Because I get heap loads more maple than any other taste I'd re-name it Maple #131, and get rid of the word vanilla!
