Hearth & Home - Ashcroft Estate.
Ashcroft Estate appears to contain an even quantity of each tobacco. It mostly comprises well rubbed ribbons, there's only a few coarser pieces. The moisture was superb when I opened it.
If you favour a Lat Bomb this won't appeal. The Latakia's mildly woody, but it isn't a potent variety. The fire cured tobacco increases the weight of the flavour. I get a slight softening bought by the black Cavendish, this smooths out some of the fire cured. I don't notice many Virginia nuances, the Virginia struggles to compete for attention. A bowl burns without issue, being reliable and giving a smoke that's just below medium in temperature.
Nicotine: mild to medium. Room-note: not the nicest.
Ashcroft Estate? Not a 'great' tobacco, but a blend I'd certainly entertain as a smoke for the whole day. Three stars:
